Spokesman: Mr. Eric Wayne, a housed inmate at the cruel & unusual punishment county jail, Santa Rita Jail located in Dublin, California. I will be sharing with you some crucial and important information. If you have a loved one housed at Santa Rita Jail, you might want to hear this.

As you are fully aware, the world took a dramatic turn with the COVID-19 deadly disease, the disease had erupted here at the Santa Rita Jail since March of 2020. As we speak, the disease continues to spread here at the Santa Rita Jail facility, but you will be given false information in society, so you all would think otherwise like the Alameda County Sheriff Department and medical staff have this disease under control. Please start from the beginning when the Coronavirus started here at Santa Rita Jail – look at how many inmates contracted this COVID-19 disease and look at how many inmates have supposedly recovered from this disease.

Basically, Santa Rita Jail facility has stated they have the cure to heal this disease which is false information – if that was to be true, don’t you think they would’ve shared the cure with the rest of our society and be noticed? Santa Rita Jail medical staff and procedures have refused to test all inmates for this disease, saying if an inmate doesn’t have a high fever temperature, he or she doesn’t have the disease. Please be aware that CDC and the Health Department stated you don’t actually have to have a fever to have the disease. That means a lot of innocent lives are at high risk here at Santa Rita Jail.

Inmates such as me have turned in tons of grievance forms, but haven’t heard nothing from them in over 14, 30, 45, 54, 60 days. So if that’s true, which it is, I shouldn’t be housed in this jail facility if I don’t have no rights at all.

Then, to top that, our 8th and 14th Amendment rights and due process rights continue to be violated with the grievance appeal system here at Santa Rita Jail. Inmates such as me have turned in tons of grievance forms, but haven’t heard nothing from them in over 14, 30, 45, 54, 60 days. So if that’s true, which it is, I shouldn’t be housed in this jail facility if I don’t have no rights at all.

The conditions of Santa Rita Jail are filthy, unsanitary, nasty. We are forced to urinate inside a shower during recreation time, because it’s no toilet are located nowhere in pod recreation areas. Remember a shower is used to clean your body: that’s a huge health code violation by itself. A human can contract skin disease from toxic urine jumping on his body. Ask yourself, would you shower where others urinate at?

When you advertise the truth through grievances, attorneys, etc. Alameda County Sheriff’s Office deputies, sergeants, lieutenants use a tactic of retaliation towards you – telling inmates false information about you or other methods. This has been going on for decades at Santa Rita Jail.

I’m reaching out to attorneys, family members, sports players, legal activist teams, bishops, pastors, friends, wives, husbands, and a lot more to stand up with us and voice your concerns. Our lives matter as well. We are all human beings, we are a part of society. We cannot be silent right now.

Alameda County is based on making money by any means – meaning the justice system, criminal justice system, is human trafficking inmates here at Santa Rita Jail. It should be a lot more freed inmates than what it is now. You might have a loved one that comes from a low poverty background that’s being represented by a public defender that is trying to deal an innocent life off, or maybe a public defender that never visits his or her clients, lack of communication with a client, that failed too submit the correct motions in a court procedure, failed to investigate for you, failed to retrieve discovery evidence that will clear you – then being forced with a high excessive amount of bail, which is considered to be cruel and unusual punishment in the state of law.

I’m Mr. Eric Wayne and I speak the truth about real facts. Fact that you all should know. We need to create a push to create a source of rehabilitation for inmates that’s getting released from jail, such as:

1) Housing for homeless released inmates – that will lower our percentage of homelessness in Alameda County.

2) Job sources, SSI, veterans’ benefits that will lower our percentage of crimes such as burglaries, robberies, grand thefts, petty thefts, bippin

3) Educational sources, GEDs, college courses that will give a lot of people hope at a second life.

4) Youth programs: camps, computer classes, out of state trips. Most of our youths are now being forced to grow up faster than most and basically are creating their own ways to stay busy.

5) Gang prevention programs for boys and girls, women, and men of all ages.

6) Jail or being locked-up shouldn’t always be a judge or DA solution to fix a problem.

Myself, I would like our men to talk to our teenagers at juvenile halls and homes to build a stronger society. We must start now, it’s never too late.
