Eric has concerns regarding COVID-19 prevention protocol in SRJ. Today, about an hour ago, SRJ staff told Eric’s pod that they have to put all their property in a bag and the staff will take it away until tomorrow. Apparently, his pod will be going to “outdoor showers” tonight while professional cleaners come in to clean the cells and pod. Eric is confused why professional cleaners have to come in, if the supplies that staff passes out every other day or so are supposed to disinfect properly. He wonders why, just now, they are starting this professional cleaning service – is it really necessary? If so, should they have been doing this all along?
